It was a intimate ceremony and reception. Around thirty of their closest friends and family watched as they exchanged vows surrounded by all the artefacts & history of the venue, before enjoying drinks in the Peacock Garden and dinner around a giant banquet table back in the castle. Susan’s daughter Lottie joined her mum in walking down the aisle and made a brilliant speech in the evening.  

There was no shortage on entertainment and surprises. This began when the guests sat down to for their meal and the suits of armour surrounding them came alive and embarked on a sword fight around the table!  Later on in the evening two of the waitresses dropped their cutlery (quite literally) and began singing with the accompaniment of all the guests. At this point I think people must have been thinking my presence as a photographer was a front for another form of entertainment (fortunately for Susan & John and their guests I stuck to the photography)!

It was a stunning day in a breathtaking venue. Congratulations Susan & John!
