Helen & Simon’s Baraset Barn Wedding
Helen & Simon had a beautiful wedding in St James’ Church, Alveston with a massive reception at The Baraset Barn.
The bridal party began the day getting ready for for wedding in Helen’s family home, a few doors down Simon & the Groomsmen were getting prepared with a pint in The Ferry, before walking down to the village church.
This set the tone for the day – an incredibly fun & laid back wedding. There was a particularly great moment which you should be able to spot in the photos, as Helen’s father saw her as a bride for the first time, there was so much joy in his face and reaction. Moments like this are the best part of being a wedding photographer, there are few situations where all this genuine emotion and energy is on constant display.
After the ceremony the guests wandered down to The Baraset Barn where the party went on until the early hours with an impressively packed dance floor. Being a week after Shakespeare’s birthday celebrations down the road in Stratford Upon Avon, the locals would be forgiven to think The Bard was extending the party to the following weekend with the amazing scale of the fireworks (again, see below). It was a fitting end to a really wonderful wedding.
Congratulations Helen & Simon!
